Álora is a traditional white village located in the heart of the Valle del Guadalhorce. It's a pleasant town with a rich historic heritage and an endless list of tourism activities. The Álora Castle is well worth a visit and in the centre you can find several restaurants, bars, terraces, shops, supermarkets. If you like to experience the real Spanish lifestyle go to Alora in the morning and enjoy an cafe con leche with churros on one of the lovely terraces. Between 2 and 5 shops are closed so a perfect time to enjoy a tapas and a drink at one of the restaurants. For a nice dinner Alora also is the place to be, lots of nice restaurants in town and the surrounding suburbs Malaga is definitely a city worth visiting. From Casa el Naranjo you can go by car or by train, only 40 minutes by train and you are in the centre of Malaga. Malaga offers something for everyone. Wander trough the streets with shops and nice restaurants and walk through Paseo del Parque, a park with lots of beautiful trees and plants. Another fun part of Malaga is the harbour, there you find nice shops and restaurants where you can enjoy a nice drink and tapas with views over the water. If you like art there is also plenty to see in Malaga, with of course the famous Picasso museum.
Other magnificent cities within a reasonable distance are Granada, Cordoba and Sevilla. Each of these cities have there own charm and interesting places to see.If you visit Granada the famous Alhambra is a must but if you plan to visit the Alhambra please book tickets in advance. When you are in Cordoba you can visit the Mezquita and wander through the small streets of the Jewish neighbourhood. Sevilla is the capital city of Andalusia. In Sevilla visit the Cathedral and the Real Alcázar. A great idea for all three cities is to explore it by bicycle or take a bus tour.
